I would imagine there's at least one teen comedy/rom-com that's centered around a Halloween party

Hallmark HAS to have this covered with their fall collection. I'll ask my wife about it.

Casper

I just rewatched this recently. I didn't remember how horrible and fricked up it actually is for a kids movie.

Bill Pullman's character is a depressed widow who gets drunk and kills himself by falling down a manhole. Then after he is brought back to life, his dead wife visits to tell him he's doing a great job as a father.

Not to mention Casper is a little creep who watches Christina Ricci while she sleeps and asks if he can "keep" her.

I’m not sure if it is a Halloween movie or Christmas movie but the Nightmare before Christmas is enjoyable.

That said, Tim Burton is a weird guy.

The Hollywood Knights.

Takes place on Halloween night. Trick-or-treating going on in the background: some masks/costumes worn by the main characters:

Plus it's one of the funniest movies EVER.
