Yeah, I feel relatively confident that this movie will end with a downnote on Thanos getting both the Soul and Mind Stone. Possibly even Ultron being reawakened to combat Thanos... that would be an awesome cliffhanger if Hank Pym decides to reawaken Ultron in order to save half of the universe, setting up a 3 way battle between The Avengers, Thanos, and Ultron.

I was hoping the reality stone turns Steve into skinny Steve, and he would then wield Thor’s hammer as skinny Steve against thanos.

Not necessarily the hammer, but I had this same thought the other day that skinny Steve would end up saving the world (and die while doing it).

I doubt they kill him after paralyzing him in the movie before.

Thanos just better be glad Odin isn’t around. Be a shame to get bitch slapped around before your plan even gets started on Earth.

You need to let go of your ultron theory, it’ll only end in disappointment for you

“Interestingly enough, I’ll start out by saying Thanos, even though he’s not a character that had a huge preexisting story in the Marvel universe. He was a threat but he was not developed in any way up to this point. Thanos has an incredible amount of screen time in this film, in a lot of ways I would say it’s his movie. Our job when we make these films — and what we feel is important to us — is to surprise the audience. We wanted to tell a story that they weren’t expecting, and the story is told from the point of view of a villain, which I think is also really unique and risky for a commercial film that will surprise the audience. I think this is a market where the audience really enjoys innovation and disruption, and we want to do something innovative in this space. So I think Thanos has an incredible amount of screen time, and I think you’ll find that Thor has a really interesting arc in the film. He hasn’t been at the forefront of other Avengers movies but he certainly has a very important role in this film. So I’ll say, Thanos and Thor.”

So Thanos and Thor have the most screen time. Interesting

So we'll release 97 trailers showing you 80% of the movie beforehand. And then talk about it endlessly a year before it arrives in theaters - but we want to surprise the audience.

That is interesting

If Thor gets a ton of screen time then that means there’s probably a lot of Groot and Rocket too

Please let there be, somehow Silver Surfer. He is such an integral part of the original story line from the comics! Pretty sure Adam Warlock will make it, not sure about Nova and Moondragon.

Meh this is only the 2nd trailer for a movie due out in about a month. Highly unusual for a film this big. They’ve been trying to keep things pretty close to the vest

We’ve seen maybe 4 minutes of footage of a 2 hour and 36 minute movie. Chill

"I need you to do it again, one more time."

They've done a pretty good job of hiding major plot points and creating deft trailers that while they run the full trailer length, hide a significant amount of story.

What works against them is not the trailers, it's the existence of these stories to being with.

In the comics he encounters Thanos at least once that I know of and slapped him around pretty good. He was actually pretty merciful in the beat down.

Seeing how Marvel just keep wrecking shite over and over again just makes me angry DC can't get it right. It also makes me appreciate the long game Marvel played building their universe.

My theory: Banner can't turn into the Hulk for some reason. Tony or Wakanda upgrade Hulkbuster for Banner. The scene where it's being overrun in the trailer will be right before Banner Hulks out and explodes from the suit.

This trailer has me feeling tingly.

Its amazing how profitable Marvel has become with their movies. I wouldnt be surprised that because of the movies, Marvel's comic book sales have drastically increased in the past 10 years.

It does suck that DC cant get it right. I will be honest, the MCU made me a Marvel Comics fan. As a kid growing up, I knew about Spiderman, Hulk, and the X-Men. That's about it.
Meanwhile, before MCU every kid ever wanted to be either Superman, Batman, or Wonder Woman. If done correctly, Justice League could have broke records. But from now on it looks like DC will forever be the little brother to Marvel going forward.

I think Marvel learned how to market it's "supporting" characters earlier and better in this current era. DC basically only pumps Batman and Supeman and Wonder Woman.
