dog gonnit i sure do hope the heroes die. Rocky IV would have been so much better if Drago would have killed Rocky too.

I'm guessing that scene is at the beginning if this movie/end of Ragnarok, then Thor goes and gets his new weapon, juices up the lightning power, and wrecks shop.

well which of them can realistically (comic book realistically) do anything to Thanos? I'd imagine Thor, Vision and Dr. Strange are pretty much the only ones that stand a chance.

at some point someone has to die or I just lose interest
I'm already mostly there with these Marvel movies, but I'll go see this one just to see all the characters in 1 movie

All these actors have been filming part 2. I don't think you'll see any deaths to major characters until the next one.

What are you talking about? people have died along the way. Are you seriously expecting a title character to die? when does that ever happen in a movie? Cap, Iron Man, Spiderman, Hulk, Thor, Dr. Strange, Black Panther, Ant-Man, Star-Lord, they are all title characters. They aren't going to die, and if they do "die" they'll be back.
If there's people that might die, then it would be someone like Black Widow, Hawkeye, Vision, Falcon, War Machine, Drax, Mantis, Scarlett Witch, Bucky. But if you look at their contracts, which i have not, I'm sure many will be appearing in future movies, so some of them can't die.
I think there's obviously going to be some surprises in this movie considering how well they've done to keep major spoilers from getting out, but the idea of Cap or Iron Man dying, and really dying as in never coming back, that just isn't something i'd bet on.
