Do I need to see Black Panther before IW? I usually skip the more minor character movies like BP and AntMan. I may have skipped Spider-Man if I wasn’t such a big fan of his as a kid.

Overdramatic much?? All that's needed are good films and DC will also make a killing. WW made more, domestically, than any MCU film last year. If Reeves makes a good Batman film, it makes a billion plus.
WBs problem is they rushed their films to try and catch up to Marvel. Also, handing the universe to Snyder was a stupid decision. We'll see what happens now that he's gone.

From what it looks like, you wont really have to. Black Panther seems to be more of a stand-alone film, rather than a prequal to IW.

I thought the same thing but after seeing the trailer it’s a good idea to give BP a watch bc it looks like many characters introduced in BP are in this. Like the different wakandan tribes and some of their technology.

This might be one of the greatest trailers I've ever seen. The scene with Cap and Thanos legit gave me chills.
