Are the Creed movies any good?

About to go on a 14 hour flight and Creed 1-3 are available.

Creed 1 is decent because it's basically a Rocky movie continued. Stallone should have won an Oscar.
It's also well directed and the score is pretty good for a modern movie.
Fast forward through all the Tessa Thompson scenes and its very rewatchable.
The other two films are total shite.

1 & 2 are good movies, worthy of the Rocky franchise. I'd rank 1 above Rocky 4, in the same tier as Rocky 3.

I like them. They hit most of the same notes as the Rocky films.
I think if you like Rocky, you’ll probably like the Creed movies. It ran out of steam for me by the third film though.

First and second movies are great, but not because of Michael B Jordan. Stallone carries the first one and the Drago family drama carries the second one.

First one was good. Second is meh.
They don’t really have much rewatch value to me because Adonis is just not very likable unlike Stallone and Rocky.
Haven’t seen 3 but may give it a shot some day.

I think most of us were rooting for Drago.
Jordan is just not likeable in roles. They want him to be charismatic, but he can't pull it off.

First one is the best, the third one is unique because of the anime influence in the fighting sequences and Jonathan Majors giving another great performance.

I don’t dislike Jordan but honestly the only role I ever kinda felt for or rooted for him was Killmonger and he was the bad guy about wage a race war.

3 is by far the worst, but I think it's worth watching just for Jonathan Majors. He crushed that role.
I also never thought I'd see CGI during a boxing match. That took me completely out of it and ruined the moment the whole movie was leading up to.

First is legit. Nice story... And Rocky and Creed reminiscent, brings back the 80s.
Going forward as a franchise without that, it's not very compelling.
