I just hope Bix was able to set up as legit, she wont have Andor to save her next time the imperials come around that planet.

Do we have to nitpick every little thing about a show that has blown most of the other Disney shows out of the water
In my case, I'm nitpicking because it was so good. If the show sucked, I'd have left halfway through the season and you'd have never heard from me about it, but because the show has sticking power, of course we're going to nitpick it. It's fun.

I would definitely recommend this show to people that dont even care about star wars.

Disney shouldve put Andor on TV prime time on ABC or something honestly.

Anyone else now see Andor as a good starting point for anyone new to Star Wars? At this point, I feel like starting with Andor and Rogue One before moving into the original trilogy is the way to go (and then go to the prequels).

I think you have to start with A New Hope. You are viewing all this knowing what the Death Star is. If you didn't know that already, the end of Andor would not mean nearly as much. All of the dread you feel watching the empire make all their plans would be gone. I think you can do ANH, Andor, Rogue One, ESB, RotJ

ABC did air the first episode of season 2, probably should have aired the first 3 episodes over 3 nights.

I would say this is the starting route I would advise someone who has never seen anything Star Wars:
Solo -> Andor S1/S2 -> Rogue One -> ANH

Just watched the finale. She couldn’t tell him he was a father?

She was already a distraction for him. As she said in her video she was choosing the rebellion. If she told him he had a kid, no way he was going to serve in the capacity needed for the rebellion.

Best show of the year thus far IMO

I loved the last 3 but wanted 30 more minutes of the finale
I felt like Dedra was such a big part of the show and we get a 20 second send off?

It honestly needed another 3 episode arc at minimum before the final 3.
Or I’m just sad it’s over and that I won’t get more. I really can’t negatively critique the show in any way. It was perfect and everything I have ever wanted in a Star Wars movie/show.
Also, I thought Dedra’s ending was perfect. That’s how the Nazis and Soviets worked. Once you crossed a line or weren’t useful…
Gone. Erased. Like you were never even there.

Just started Rogue One again.
Question- when Krennic tells Galen he needs him because the Death Star has stalled, what does he mean?
At the end of Andor, it looked like everything was on track and it was about 90% done. Please remind me the details on that.

FYI, The Ringers Watch podcast spent the whole show with Tony Gilroy and it dropped a few days back. They discuss the final 3 episodes and the ending.

That scene happens something like 13-14 years before the end of Andor (and the rest of Rogue One).

That was a flashback about 10 years prior to Rogue One. Also, Galen was needed to design the laser and get it to work. He was the galaxy’s top expert in the scientific application of kyber crystals which is why he was so important.

The Empire is going to get too busy fighting the rebellion to worry about auditing the grain world.

Could be to show where ambition gets you in the Empire. She could also be back in one of the other shows. Either help the new republic or 1st order. I am sure the prisoners get released when the Empire falls in a few years.
