She could also be back in one of the other shows. Either help the new republic or 1st order.

A spinoff of her out of prison and helping the New Republic hunt down the remnants of the Empire could be interesting. Would she want to get back at the Empire for throwing her in prison? And could the New Republic trust her?

Oh snap thanks for reminding me of the flashback. Makes sense

Really bummed Syril had to die. It could have been a spinoff on the adventures of Syril and Dedra.

He breaks her out of jail, they move to the burbs and start a family. He gets a new minivan. 2 minute opening theme song and everything

I definitely wanna see that actor in more roles. I hated him so much in season 1

An intergalactic Odd Couple. She's evil and calculating; he's sheltered and idealistic.

She could be as harsh running down imperials as she was with rebels. She talked about order and the peace that brings and her relationship was with the ultimate bureaucrat. Maybe they go in to how the bureaucracy of the new republic leads to its fall.

I like to think this is a trophy from the bridge bombing on Naboo. An assassination on the corrupt bureaucrat that helped initiate Palpatine’s rise to ultimate power.

Just finished Andor, as others have said it was the best thing Star Wars that Disney has put out.

Also went right into Rouge One after the Andor finale. I hadn't seen Rogue One since it was released in theaters. I figured Wilmon and Kleya would have carried over but they didn't.

It was also good to get a backstory on "K" and how an empire droid became part of the rebellion. The scenes with "K" were great.

Dedra was the most compelling character in the entire series. She’s a hell of an actress

I found myself rooting for her the entire time, I agree some new material with her would be great

Disagree.

She was good at her role though

Where would you rate it overall?

I think its one of the most enjoyable shows period, without the Disney star wars qualifier.

It’s her and then Luthen as the top two for me

I feel they didn’t do her justice though—she could’ve been developed into a supervillain with some really climactic and intense scenes rather than being thrown in prison and waste her character

I kinda slept on Kleya but she showed up for the finale arc.

My favorite character was probably mothma though

There wasnt enough time for a syril redemption arc but im glad he saw what dedra couldnt see in the end and that what she was doing was evil.

She stuck right along with it.

Idk, I feel like one of the takeaways from Andor is that (at least during this period of time) the only true supervillains are Vader and Palpatine. Everyone else is just a cog in the machine trying to get ahead. And since Andor is a show about the more “human” side of both the empire and the rebellion, I think Dedra’s arc works perfectly.

They easily left open for Dedra bix and Kleya to have some sort of spinoffs down the line

I’m being a little overzealous when I say supervillain—it’s more about the fact that she’s a true believer in the Empire and wants to stamp out the rebels. So I mean that moreso in the context of this story, because she can’t be in Rogue One or ANH obviously

Just as an example, I would’ve liked to see her be the one to confront the gay guy in front of Krennick about his relationship with the mole and see him strung up. Scenes where she’d be yelling etc would be great with her aesthetic

I also don’t understand why her boyfriend decided to take a liking to the girl on Ghorman that didn’t want him. He was obsessed with Dedra and it didn’t make any sense that he’d turn on her so quickly

Huh?
None of that happened. He didn’t “take a liking” to the Ghorman girl. He was trying to help the resistance from getting slaughtered.

And he didn’t turn on Dedra for lust over another girl. He turned on Dedra because he found out she was in on creating a holocaust.
