Referring to what a Master passes on to an Apprentice through lessons. He adapted to become a warrior and he taught her to be a warrior above all else. Fighting and survival is what she was taught and what she carries with her from him.

Ok, so what was Anakin in this? Actually in the WBW, force ghost, hallucination? I’m confused.

I'd say Ahsoka was in a near-death experience, and this allowed her to interact with Anakin's spirit...

so not quite a Force ghost- that's when he would interact with someone fully in the realm of the living.

now, as to the World Between Worlds, and whether that means something between life and death; that's another thing. Not sure with that.

I don't think hallucination.

She’s Ahsoka the White now, a mirror image to Gandalf the White. She’s unlocked her full power and transcended her past.

That’s directly from Filoni

I understand the comparison. She is now a full light side Jedi Master like Yoda and ObiWan. The Grey poncho she wore represented the Gandalf the Grey phase in this series. Also, the previous episode was called the Fallen Jedi. I think that was more about Ashoka than Balen. She lost because she approached the problem as a warrior, like Anakin taught her, and attacked the apprentice out of rage and let the dark side out. She rejected her dark side like Yoda did in thr clone wars series. She is a full light side master now.

Huh Star Wars established that Anakin’s force ghost is young Anakin when they did the rerelease of ROTJ

Which is kinda BS that he got to choose his hot form after all those years of genocide. He deserves to be a force ghost of his Vader body, without the suit or robot limbs

Disagree. Don’t think they’ll go that deep into the CW show lore. Really wish they had made clear what this Anakin was. My gut says force ghost that just appears differently in the WBW.

i'm more hoping than anything.
If he truly was the Father, then i can't see how that terrible sequel trilogy would have happened. If Anakin is the Father, then the force is balanced, and there's no Palpatine coming back to do all that dumb shite.

This show still has to sort of explain why Ahsoka had no part in that terrible sequel trilogy, which i think they are trying to do in saying that she doesn't want to fight anymore.

I am also really curious as to the abilities Jason possesses if he was able to hear a light saber battle either within the WBW or within Ashoka's head

I think it's just as simple as he is the son of a jedi. He is force sensitive, and the force was reaching out to him.

I forget the exact words but Anakin said what is him would also be in his Padawan. Someone correct me if I am wrong but that means she also carried his dark side with her. Just as he came back so could she

My interpretation of that is that they both grew up with immense suffering and conflict. Neither of them knew anything but war, death, suffering. The Clone wars were long and brutal. It's been shown all over how close they all were to the clones. She especially was close to them. I think Anakin tought her how to be hard and callous, like he said, to be a soldier. He did not teach her any other way, so that's all she knew. Top that with the mistrust she had for the jedi order. She was just hard, and cold. His lesson was, she didn't have to be that. She could die in this shell that he helped her create. The shell of a soldier, a former jedi with tons of regret. OR, she could chose to live, let it all go, let go of her hatred, and fear. Become the jedi she was meant to be, the one she needs to be to rescue Sabine, find Ezra, and defeat Thrawn.

Ehhh I loved the episode, but holy shite i'm tired of waiting for Thrawn.

Ahsoka at the end saying she didn't know where they were going and that was fine says it might take a while for her to get to Thrawn. Maybe we see the ring ship get to Thrawn and Ezra next week, but I'm not sure returning to the main galaxy is something that happens this season. With the pacing of the story so far, I think Filoni feels he has a lot of time to tell this story.

and they probably have to save most of Thrawn for the movie.

Highly unpopular opinion, but I just didn't care for the episode, and I say that having liked everything up until this point. The Clone Wars flashbacks were cool. The Vader/ Anakin flickering was awesome. I did not like the pacing of the episode though. The lesson she was supposed to learn wasn't very clear either. I am also really curious as to the abilities Jason possesses if he was able to hear a light saber battle either within the WBW or within Ashoka's head... anyway, not trying to shite on anyone's enjoyment of the episode, it just didn't do it for me.

Not everyone needs to like everything, but I thought her lesson was pretty obvious.

Wasn't Ahsoka one of the Jedi voices Rey heard during the whole "I am all the Sith" and "I am all the Jedi" crap with Palpatine? Since all the other voices Rey heard were dead Jedi, I'm guessing Ahsoka dies before the sequel trilogy.

If she was still alive, she'd be around 70 by that point in the timeline.

Those god awful sequels are the big turd in the Star Wars universe punch bowl. It’s really a shame everything moving forward is just Disney trying to polish those turds.

Clone Wars and Rebels had to polish the prequel turds

Mostly Clone Wars though, Rebels was just a buffing out any lingering blemish.

Episodes I-III > Episodes VII-IX, but they were pretty dang bad.
