It's an enjoyable watch. Lighthearted, fun, with quality characters with an idyllic community. Seriously, it's worth a watch

Loved the show, but the Life and Death Brigade made my skin crawl, when I don’t think that was the writer’s intention.

My wife (no Pics) watched it when it originally aired and has the box set of dvds. I can handle watching an episode here and there but, it makes me tired trying to keep up with what they are saying.
The supporting cast has a lot of future stars.
Melissa McCarthy although I can't stand her has had a pretty good career.
Chad Michael Murray went on to star in one tree hill.
the guy who played Dean was in supernatural.
The guy who played Jess is the dad in This is Us.
Kurt is in Guardians of the Galaxy.
Logan now stars in The Resident
I'm sure I'm missing some.
The one scene i always remember is when Chad's character kept fricking with Rory and wanted to fight Dean.
Dean: You're wearing a tie! It would be like fighting an accountant".

Lane has been on a few shows. A lot of them appear on other Sherman-Palladino shows.
Zack and Brian were hilarious. Always liked the hep alien scenes especially where Zack goes to the bat mitzvah to try and get Gil and Brian to rejoin the band and they’re playing No Doubt holla back girl

I'll often sit with my wife and watch whatever chick show she has on, because I like spending time with her. Real Housewives, Flea Market Flip, the plethora of home improvement shows she likes...
Gilmore Girls is the only one where I'd leave the room if she was watching it.

Why the frick would you want to watch the same too bitches bitching at each other for hours on end. If I want to experience an argument I will do it in person, no way am I wasting energy watching them argue on TV.

Yeah, however if you truly analyze the actions of the characters, you find that throughout Rory is a truly crappy person. I mean big time entitled, lacks accountability of her own actions, I mean she truly posses the attitude that would have made her a much better daughter for Emily than Lorelai. Lorelai was rebellious for the sake of rebelling.
