I mean there's no sports to highlight so there's no point in watching it currently.

I honestly can't remember the last time I had the channel on ESPN. This is coming from someone who used to only watch ESPN only 3 months ago.

Dude, you keep ignoring the point like you never read our arguments here with all this strawman bullshite, everything Clay Travis and I argue hold up and now that theyre committing so much of their programming to politics over the Floyd stuff just exacerbate the situation, to argue otherwise renders you completely tone deaf to the Forest.

I've given you the fact multiple times that First Take and SC had basically identical ratings before Floyd.

May 13, First Take with a 0.10

June 8, First Take rating 0.10 again post Floyd

You can literally see First Take with the same rating. The 5 PM sportscenter actually gained viewers from a 0.09 in May to 0.10 in June.

That's my issue. I've given facts that Covid dropped ESPN's ratings by 62% and cited facts that SC and First Take didn't change ratings pre and post Floyd. You can say what you want, but facts are facts.

Before the advent of the internet, a sportsbettor had to buy as many national newspapers, sports magazines, Gold Sheet, Sports Reporter, tout sheets,etc..as he could get in a timely manner..plus own a big dish, megaband shortwave radio, and a Don Best subscription..

Once the internet brought along Broadcast.com, Real Audio.net, Newslink.org, then the sportbetting forums Rx EOG Madjacks Etc.., Statfox, Covers,etc..ESPN was dying to me sans live games..

Then came MLB Net, NFL Net, NBAtv,etc..

But, most importantly, now with VSiN, I have the microcosm niche world of info that I ever wasted time on modern day Disney owned SJW fig ESPN trying to gather info..

RIP 1980s ESPN, CNN Sports, CNNSI..they became dated platforms with issues vs realtime anyway. But, just for good measure they screwed up what lil interest folks had left..in forcing non-sports agendas.

If ESPN wants to improve ratings they should just blanket Laura Rutledge's home with cameras and live stream from her house all day. No doubt in my mind threads would pop up all over TD talking about what she is wearing or how she brushes her teeth. LOL

“First Take” was the highest rated ESPN studio show all day

frick that show.

I actually don't mind Get Up!, usually. Working from home the last few months I've gotten up and put it on almost every single day in the mornings. But a couple weeks ago even that show went full-on politics mode and their talking heads scolded me almost daily for being white, and I don't even put it on anymore. And what sucks is that there are some actual, legitimate sports goings on lately that they could've been talking about. But instead of Ryan Clark getting hyped and yelling at me every morning, and idiots like Jay Williams telling me in so many words how shitty of a person I am, all the while magically managing to not say anything at all really (it seriously amazes me that this dude has a job).

It's fricking stupid, and I am sick of it. I know it's the cool thing on the MSB to hate on ESPN and claim to not watch it, but I actually still do watch it here and there. But that's one show that I am avoiding until sports gets back going.

And what sucks is that once they fired Jamele fricking Hill and tried to refocus on sports, it was noticeable and felt different, in a good way. And now they are right back into it again.

It's kinda funny how bad my wife loathes Dan Orlovsky though.

SportCenter’s ratings are low during a period where we haven’t had live sports in months???? I’m shocked I tell you, shocked!

Pre Internet, they only ran top 25 CFB and CBB highlights. Meaning, you were SOL if your team wasn't top 25 or playing a top 25 opponent.

Read the article, the network is TANKING compared to the other sports networks, clearly the political bullshite is hurting and certainly not helping, Wokecenter is ensuring the death of our flagship sports network they clearly need to do better

I've watched some ufc repeats on the ESPN app. And I'm looking forward to the McGuire/Sosa doc this weekend.

But every other ESPN show, whether SportsCenter or ESPN Radio is so awful, they'd have to pay me to watch/listen.

During quarantine, I would always have ESPN on in the background.

Since the George Floyd situation, they have literally (I mean LITERALLY) only talked about race relations in this country. Not once during this time have I turned their network on, and heard them talking about actual sports.

I haven't watched in over 2 weeks. It's unbearable and quite frankly I'd rather watch a 24 hour, 7 day a week marathon of Tom Rinaldi sob stories.

Yeah Rep520 conveniently ignores this to maintain his bullshite defense of Wokecenter, what a disingenuous communist defender and he defends LeChoke James what a Cuck!
