There was no difference in clock after a time out. Just say human error and move on.

the behind endzone view did show him out of bounds,

Thanks. Did it show that his foot/feet was out of bounds when he started to jump up...that he hadn't reestablished himself in bounds before jumping?

ETA: NVM. Saw the video you mentioned. Thx again

Can you imagine TD if this absolute horseshite happened to LSU?
—It did, but for LSU against Ole Miss in ‘72. Thank God

Either way, WMU could have defended better on the last play. That’s the bottom line.

He hadn't reestablished, but it's not illegal touching. Simply a dead ball as soon as he touches it, which is after 0:00

Broadcast clock should be irrelevant. If the stadium clock however showed 0.00, this is 100% home cooking.

Exactly. I can live with a TV clock being off by a second.

But by all accounts, the TV clock and the stadium clock and every other clock showed 0 when the ball hit the WMU player.

Yet the BIG has some super secret clock only a replay official can see. Lunacy.

In summary, yes, Michigan did have to resort to cheating to keep from losing at home to a school from the MAC.

In the face of irrefutable evidence, this line of reasoning is total horseshite.

Some mysterious clock we never knew about that turns out is actually the official game clock said 0:01

That's my issue. The secret clock no one else gets to see or review.

And apparently that was enough for the MAC commissioner, WMU president, and WMU head coach to say, “That makes sense! Thanks guys!”

They showed some picture with 0.04.... four hundredths of a second

that is more of a timing clock measurement, no?

More from WMU president Russ Kavalhuna: "It is a discrepancy - what the viewing public see and the reviewing officials see. I used to be a federal prosecutor. I don’t discern anything unfair or untoward in this process."

Then why have a stadium clock and a TV broadcast clock? I can't recall any football or basketball game where those clocks hit 0:00....and the replay crew chimed in three minutes later with: "Hold up. You're not gonna believe this...."

Yeah they probably have about half a dozen clocks. I'm sure they'll go with whichever one gives Michigan the best outcome.

The Big10 is in fact saying the stadium clock is not official for them

It’s absolute horseshite

It would be like saying the painted endzone line in the stadium isn’t official. They have the official endzone mark in the replay studio
