Why do WNBA players crave attention so badly?

So many of them go overboard trying to be funny when they know they are being watched.

I keep seeing A’ja Wilson and Dawn Staley trying so hard at the Aces game.

It’s so odd how they can’t just be normal. Imagine Jay Johnson going to a Pirates game and having Paul Skenes try to be so funny with Jay.

And then I know we see it in the NFL and NBA, but the way the way the WNBA tries so hard to be cool as they enter the arena heading to the locker room is so cringe.

The WNBA is such a shitty thing.

Then why are you watching it? Are you watching in hopes that it becomes a better product?

I’m not. I see clips online.

I don't know, but this board seems to love giving it to them.

Would be weird if Wilson didn't try hard at Aces games

Male athletes love staying out of the spotlight.

This board has to account for 50% of the WNBA’s online engagement.

Kelsey Plum is the worst about it. Craves the attention but then acts like she doesn’t want it.
