There is no human who actually believes this

That's not a very strong case.

If you had to rely on a QB’s level of play from a random year in his career - junior in high school, sophomore in college, fourth year pro, whatever - few (if any) would be a more reliable bet than Manning.
He was dominant at every stop and nearly every single season from high school to late in his NFL career.

I’m really interested to see mahomes when he’s a few years older and can’t roll out to the right sideline then up the field as much.
It’s such a massive part of his game that a lot of the greats didn’t have.

The better debate at this time would be Manning vs. Rodgers. Both are better than Brady, but who is better between the two?

No one cares about your yards and TDs if you’re not getting W’s

When did Tom Brady play defense?

Peyton has a career 70% winning percentage and won 186 regular season games.
And a QB doesn’t get credit for a SB win when his defense and special teams are the ones earning the wins instead of him.

one difference between them is mahomes has had one of the best offensive minds as a head coach while manning had the following:
Jim Mora, Tony Dungy, Jim Caldwell, John Fox, and Gary Kubiak

Definitely Mahomes. Not even a question.
Id take Mahomes' career arc over Tom Brady at this point. He probably wont reach 6 rings but he'll be the GOAT by the time he retires (and yall know how much I love TB12).

've got Manning around 4th and Mahomes around 7th in the Super Bowl era. If Mahomes' career ended today, Manning would have the argument for better career. In five years I expect Mahomes to be top 3.
But if the question is, "Who do you want starting at QB for your dream team"? It's Mahomes all day. He has no weaknesses and is the closest thing to a "natural" at the position since John Elway. Rodgers too. They make it look easier than the rest.
Rogers threw a pass last week against somebody, on the run and down the field about 50 yards. Big moon shot. Beauty of a pass. He still has a great arm. Always thought GBay's home field advantage worked against him a bit.

Peyton is in slightly more commercials. So Peyton for now.

I wish I knew how to grade them. Which one is better at reading and reacting and adjusting to opponent's defenses?
Can they be compared with the changing definitions of "Roughing the passer".
Mahomes can run when he has to and there's nobody in that area. I don't remember how Peyton reacted in those situations. Do you?

Eh, he still had to play prime Brady. It was just an entire generation years later

Mahomes by a mile. You could always count on Peyton to throw that clutch int. He was so good at it. The Saints and Saints fans still thank him for his contribution.

The chiefs have had a top 10 defense 6 out of Mahomes 7 seasons. Your argument is dumb.
24, 10, 10, 17, 18, 2, 6. These are the Chiefs full season PPG ranking in his first 7 seasons. Amazing people just blatantly spew garbage when info is readily available.
Mahomes is the only QB to win a Super Bowl with a playoff defense that gave up an average of 25 PPG in their playoff games. He’s done it twice.
