I dont think he would have had success in NO, if they pursued him.
But he looks like the Beset QB in the league in Indy.

And the Vikings let him go for McCarthy…
Same with Darnold

JJ is a smaller Daniel Jones too. Would’ve been the perfect QB to learn from. Vikings are a dumb franchise.

Not I. I've called him a bum for years. But, mea culpa, I'm willing to concede that maybe I was wrong and Danny Boy's problem with the Giants was that fat, donut-sucking frick named Brian Daboll. Fire him today and get rid of Mr. Limited immediately

I think Steichen is a very good offensive coach and plays to QB’s strengths really well. Hurts in Philly, had Minshew within a dropped pass of a playoff spot a couple years ago. Now doing well with Jones. He just couldn’t do anything with AR.

The Colts lowkey have one of the best offensive rosters in the NFL. They’ve got a top 5 OL, top 10 WR corps and JT at running back. Add Tyler Warren at TE and you’ve got a great supporting cast for the QB. They’ve been handicapped by terrible QB play and having an average one like Daniel Jones has made them a playoff team.

Let's not be too harsh now, we (Saints fans) need him to stick around so we have a chance to not be the worst team in the league

The biggest cheat code in the NFL is having a good offensive HC who is a QB guru. You can just recycle the bust castoffs from horrible franchises every 2-3 years.

I'm somewhat sad that the Saints hired an OC as HC who doesn't appear to have that magic touch. His claim to fame is getting the Eagles over the hump offensively by devolving their QB play/expectations and running more

Those can pick and choose their jobs, the saints job was probably one of the least attractive openings in a while,..,no cap space, very talent deficient roster. Usually these conditions at least have a high draft pick but nope not us, a meh pick in a weak qb draft.

To your cheat code point, they should have done whatever the frick necessary to keep Payton in the building…..but I tend to think Mickey was eager to prove he made them and not the other way around

Even if it holds during the regular season, no one in that division is schemed to defend running QB’s, it’ll go up in flames in the playoffs when they play a team with packages designed to defend Lamar Jackson, Josh Allen and Hurts

Denver, Miami and Tennessee are also 1-8, Denver’s lone win was vs Tennessee

I told you three weeks ago Jones is All-Pro the first three weeks of the season. Let's see how they do the next two weeks

I think even if he landed in NOLA, Indiana Jones wouldnt have had success.

Your take on this is spot on and refreshing.
Thank you sir.

His long history of sucking with the Giants is why I can only give his resurgence a "maybe, let's wait and see."
