I would hate it if Franklin ended up at the gata. All they need is a competent coach

Fire stoops, hire sumrall

James frabklin isnt really old. I bet Florida or Auburn scoop him up.

Zero chance. FSU athletic dept hates Deion and I’m fairly certain Deion hates us right back.

I don’t know. Auburn maybe but I don’t think UF goes that route. Franklin’s next stop feels like a V Tech type school.

He just went on PMT and said he was preparing to take a college job.

Did Jamey Chadwell miss his window?
I never got why no one took a chance on him the last 2 years.
Has won everywhere he has been

Any chance Dabo and Clemson work something out and he starts fresh somewhere else?

Clark Lea has to be flying up Coaching Search Boards?

Up and coming coordinators and positional coaches:
Ryan Grubb (Bama)
Brian Hartline (OSU)
Tim Banks (UTenn)
Chris Hampton (Oregon)
Also need to add Mack Leftwich OC TTU here.
Dude had a top ten offense in the country with TJ Finley at QB.
Top ten the next year with a different QB now top 5 at TTU
ETA you also have to add Merlins.
Not sure if he goes under retreads or small school stepping stones

Oregon is an apex program.
Coaches have left big name programs before. I wouldn’t leave personally since his road to the playoffs every year is not overly difficult.
Oregon is in a great spot, but at some point will flying 6 hours across the country to beat Rutgers' arse in a conference game become tiresome?

I'm not buying into the Gruden hype like others are.

Dan Mullen has lowly UNLV undefeated this year. They may finish the season undefeated.
Mullen will be getting a big job again soon.

Its the New Mexico St guys that have led to Lea's success. Vandy was Vandy for 3 years under Lea before they came.
Jerry Kill, Tim Beck and Pavia.

Jerry Kill - old coordinator; retread.
Vandy/Lea didn't do squat until Jerry came to town.
Heck, what he did with N Mex State was phenomenal.

Mullen will not be a good fit at a big school. How quickly we forget he had everything you could ever want at UF and still failed.
Of course, NIL could be a good development for someone like Mullen. He needs to go somewhere where the money will do the recruiting for him.
