The Penn State fan base is split on Franklin. Half want him fired and want Al Golden or Rhule hired just because they are "Joe Pa guys"

Why wouldn't he. Penn State has way better talent on defense than LSU. And I'd rather coach with Franklin than Kelly who would rather be on the golf course.

Take him. Allen was a major downgrade from Manny Diaz and his defense underachieved this year in the biggest games.

Freeman took over an 11-1 team. BK took over a 6-7 team that finished the season with 39 scholarship players a WR playing QB. I’d say BK’s rebuild is a little more difficult than Freeman’s was/is.
This excuse is weak. With the transfer portal and NIL it shouldnt take 3 years to turn a program around...This is on BK and his lazy hires with Sloan, House, and stubbornly refusing to hire a special teams.
Look how quick the coaches at Indiana and SMU turned it around. Even Sark at UT had the horns in the playoffs year 3.
BKs problem is he's LAZY and his performance is getting worse not better

It's been the biggest problem for them all year. Allar was really bad, but alot of that is because the receivers are horrible and get zero separation...
Amazing how a program like that can have such a bad receiver room. And it's not like Franklin hasn't had good receivers there. Chris Godwin, Jahan Dotson, Parker Washington, kJ Hamler, Allen Robinson etc.

Minnesota is pretty good, Nebraska is decent too.
Moo State, Kentucky, Arkansas, Oklahoma, and Vandy are about equal to the bottom on the big 10. The difference is the SEC only plays 8 league games so they get an extra cupcake win.

Indiana played a road game in the state of.....Indiana. so no I don't think the weather impacted them.
SMU was just outmatched on offense. Penn States defensive line is legit and made that QBs day miserable. The 106k fans probably made it tough.
