Which of these NFL stats is most surprising to you

- The Jets joined the NFL in 1970. They beat the eagles for the first time in 2023.
- The Lions went 70 straight games without having a 100 yard rusher. This was during the Stafford era.. it started after Reggie Bush rushed for 117 yards on Thanksgiving in 2013. The drought lasted almost 5 seasons before Kerryon Johnson rushed for 101 yards in 2018..
- Mike Vrabel had 12 career receptions during his career, and every single one was a touchdown..
The cowboys one is definitely the funniest and most embarrassing considering their arrogance. Without looking it up I am shocked that’s real the other 15 NFC teams have all been in the championship game over the past 15 years.
The Vrabel one is also a surprise. How and when was he being used on offense to be that efficient? Couldn’t recall him playing both ways

He caught a few of them in Super Bowls. They just lined him up as a goaline TE/FB and would sneak him out to the flats on obvious run downs. He probably had 12 yards receiving in his career

I mean I am always down to laugh at Dallas, but the Lions and Commanders just recently broke long NFCCG droughts. They both last played in 1991 against each other until their 2023 and 2024 appearances.

Is that really the boat you want to be in?
One is the all-time laughing stock of the NFL and the other was so bad they formed a political conspiracy to oust the owner.
Dallas gets excluded because they are a cash cow. TBF, they haven't been bad (11th in winning percentage over that period), they just screw things up.

Chargers having the #1 offense and #1 defense in the league, but having the #32 ranked special teams, leading them to miss the playoffs in 2010.

I'm not surprised by Mr. Fitzgerald's good hands, but I am pretty surprised that he made that many tackles over the years.

The stat in itself is impressive, but the way it's worded is wrong. Those aren't predictive numbers, they're rates of completion.

I'm pretty sure had Roger Staubach joined the Cowboys when he was drafted and stayed for 17 years the same would have been true for him, since they always made the playoffs, but yeah that one is impressive.
