You must have not heard. Louisiana has players in the NFL and has the most players per capita in the nfl. Lane would be crazy to not go there and he definitely won't leave if someone else offers. That's a destination.

Our defense got gashed by pavia. It is what it is. None of us are happy about it but heupel has done well enough to get a chance to correct it. We also didnt have our starting 2 corners all season. We got our asses kicked. It happens, pavia schooled our defense

He is more turnover prone than I would like but our failure with maybe the exception of the oklahoma game don't fall on him. If nico played like he did last year we would have lost 5-6 games this season.

It would be hard to turn down an 8 million dollar a year raise. That's enough money you can really secluded yourself in Baton Rouge and not have to deal with the shitty parts of town. Only hiccup I would see is what happened to orgeron and Kelly. Orgeron got fired a year after winning a title and they were singing Kelly's praises up until game 3 of this season. Things happen fast as hell in Baton Rouge and they will drag you to court to skimp on the contractual obligation they signed. It could be a great move or it could be shirt lived. That 2-3 game a year loss windows and being a perennial top 15 team isn't the buffer windows it was at ole miss.
