Don Hutson caught 99 TD passes in 116 games, from 1935 through 1945.

That career TD catch record wasn’t broken until Steve Largent in 1989 in the 198th game of his career.

TD machine Jerry Rice didn’t catch his 99th TD passes until the 119th game of his career, and 100th in his 120th game, which is the fastest any player has ever reached 100 TD catches.

Had Don Hutson played one more season, he might still be the fastest one to that 100 mark, 80 years later.

During the entire 2014 NFL regular season, the Kansas City Chiefs did not throw a single receiving touchdown to a wide receiver

can someone explain this to me, is this semantics where they the ball was thrown before the end zone and none was thrown into the endzone, or literally not a single wide receiver caught a TD pass all year???

None of their WRs scored a TD on offense all season.

Yet they still went 9-7, and Alex Smith had a decent season throwing 18 TD passes vs 6 INTs with a 93.4 passer rating.

This one is wild to me.

Next in line was their fullback with 2001 yards. Their leading rusher for RB was Kenyan Drake with 174 yards.
