What is there not to like about Herbstreit? He is a damn strong supporter of the Tigers (even when it is sometimes unwarranted).

A grown man cries when you lose a loved one, including his little beagle dog, maybe at your daughter's wedding, certainly not the BS racial injustice crap Herbstreit was bawling about.....embarrassing.

He cried in 2020 so your average homebaw can’t stand him

This will sway them a little sort of like when this whole board thought aaron rodgers was gay and every smoke show gf he had was a beard, then he said “vaccine bad” and sir winston started gargling his balls.

Most of us still don't like Aaron but we respect that he was one of the few in the spotlight that went against the propaganda.

Herbstreit will never have our respect for crying over Saint George Floyd on national tv during the opening week of college football and supporting the black lives matter agenda. That isn't something you easily come back from.

And I’m going to go so far as to say that there is almost a war on being moderate today, that you have to be “all or nothing” on drinking only your political team’s kool aid….both sides require it.

I think I maybe saw or heard a stat mentioned in the Olympics where they were saying one of them men basketball players broke some Olympic scoring record held by a woman.

So, they just kind of arbitrarily decided to start treating scoring records for men and women in one category? Like Lisa Leslie or whoever it was, was scoring all her points against men's team?

That bothered me.

The stat you are referencing was KD now holding the USA all-time scoring record in the Olympics, and yes it was Lisa Leslie's record he broke.

see i dont blame Kirk for much of the shite he has to say. He has a job where the environment requires a lot of that and that job pays stupid well and is stupid fun. You have to do what you have to do.

I cant say half the shite i wanna say to my coworkers if i want to be able to feed my family. Same with him.

i would bet in private his opinions are pretty conservative.

He’s right. We have to stop letting these figs (no offense to people with same sex attraction) tell us what words we can use.

Les Miles broke him when he did not go to Michigan in 2007.

I don’t think women belong in men’s locker rooms either, not because they are bad reporters but it’s out of respect for a man’s privacy while he’s showering and getting dressed. There are instances that cut both ways.

I don't think any reporters belong in the locker room, and definitely not cameras. That's what the press room is for.

I've always thought his reporting was accurate on that. The curveball that absolutely no one saw coming was Pitt beating West Virginia later that night, unexpectedly propelling LSU into the national title game. College football head coaches don't leave for new jobs if they're preparing for a national title game, so Michigan had to pivot.

I have never thought of Herbie as someone who would just wildly throw out rumors like that unless he was pretty damn sure it was accurate.
