They are, but the play itself has been good. It’s been entertaining.

After the Pelicans got slapped back to expansion yesterday you will not find a lot of people liking the NBA today.

I'm convinced that a majority of NBA fans are more into the soap opera aspects of the Association - who's dissing who, who's dating which stripper/instawhore, who's holding out, the latest shoe design, etc - than the actual games themselves.

I'm not a fan of the NBA. I look at stats occasionally of the younger guys that I know personally. This season tournament is strange. Do the big fans like it or not?

They would like the courts to look more like something you can design on gaming systems. Therefore, they can attract more young people?

To me it started when the Bulls hired their old Pistons nemesis Rodman in 96. Jordan and Pippen couldn’t hack it in 95 playoffs since Horace Grant had left.

I couldn’t watch any of the games that were part of this. The courts were terrible. It gave me a headache to look at

The NBA is far more popular outside the US than it is in the states

The court designs for the in-season tournament are whatever. Some are cool; some not so much. The tournament has been way better than I thought it would be. It sounded dumb, but I actually like it a lot.

the NBA has gone clown world, its embarrassing how much its declined since 1998
The late 90s through early 2000s were about the absolute worst the NBA was, with absolutely atrocious offenses despite favorable defensive rules as teams went into clear out isolations, as if they had an MJ or Lebron type player who could dominate them.

So I don’t know why you cite 1998.
