Worked in field all day, went to college and played football? Tough dudes

Hell yeah. This used to be a proper country before Tiktok dances, vidya games and rap culture.
The first game I went to was SW Louisiana in 1987. I remember listening to the Notre Dame game in the car with my mom later that season. I might be misremembering, but it seems like it was raining bad that day in the Birmingham area.

My first time in Tuscaloosa was Ole Miss in 1988. I didn't understand at that age how beat up the QBs were. I just remember my dad and uncle being very aggravated that day.

it would the cool to see that redone post 1980 or 2000+

Yeah, most of these are from the days when a group of guys finished working in the field and had a football game they had to play.

You apparently haven't watched his tutorial videos.

How has no one said Auburn yet?

Auburn has maybe the best in CFB. I don't like any uniform that has yellow, so my list would exclude at least 3 on most everyone's rankings.

Why hate on him? I'd give you $10k if you could go 13/19 against a NFL defense, even preseason. If he ends up taking the career route of his father, that's a pretty damn comfortable living while doing what you love to do.

Low flyovers are always awesome. With the current state and trajectory of college football, I might just become a fan of the service academies and a casual observer of the rest of the shite show.

By the way this is purely guesswork

Thanks for the clarification. I thought you might be a time traveler.
That's true and it was basically out of the equation when the Big 12 started. He still realized that he could take advantage of it, regardless when he decided. Lawrence Phillips, Frazier and a host of others couldn't pass a 5th grade exam.
He started taking advantage of Prop 48 and had a ton of depth and players that couldn't get into school anywhere else.

Working in logistics for years has made me change my mind about the drivers that take forever to pass. I would rather it be them than a "turban torpedo" that seems to have no regard for life.
Just because people don't seem to like the guy doesn't mean he's wrong here. That's a great season.

My power went out for about an hour. I'll be damned if I go sit outside in the lightning to watch it.

Happy Birthday. I just got to watch a 8th inning collapse.

I guess I'll agree and pretend like the last 40 years never happened. The Big 18 has found success with unlimited transfers and NIL, without the huge bag, the players are staying in the south where they are from.

There's been multiple threads about drinking and driving with the usual "there's no excuse in this day and age." These deliveries seem to be better than the alternative if you haven't been to the grocery store.

3 days a week is still salvageable. I've been basically a 5th a day for 2 years. I moved out of the house August 11th. I just went into a downward spiral after my dogs died. I just came home and sat in the basement and drank. We have basically been roommates since my Lab died in February. We haven't divorced yet and maybe it can be fixed over time. I'm leaving for rehab in Denver on Friday. Coming home to an apartment all alone didn't help me at all. I hope it goes well for you

ETA: I'm sure that some people are fine with a facility close to home, but I don't trust myself enough to be in Birmingham or anywhere close to home. With it being voluntary, I don't want the option of it being easy to leave.
I did on August 11th. I'll never put another one on. I'm sure of it this time.
