Thr NBA these days is unwatchable. It's just bad basketball.

knew the T-Wolves would eventually be the best team in the NBA when they got Andrew Wiggins in the draft. Wiggins is 28, and the Wolves are a monster. Called it.

There is constant, flagrant traveling in the modern NBA. Lebron James is one of may repeat offenders, here. Guys carry the ball like an NFL running back and nothing is called.

LeBron James is once again an MVP. The man is just amazing, it's hard to keep coming up with new adjectives to describe his accomplishments in the NBA.

Factoid: LeBron James has the most points scored in the 4th quarter this NBA season. Only when it matters most.

Let me guess, your YouTube has The Professor and Jass bookmarked, and you wear flatbills with garishly large font? Own NY Yankee or LA Dodger caps in a plethora of colors like Turtle?

I don’t understand anyone watching this trash. You got seven footers that take three steps and they don’t play near the level of defense they did in the 80s and 90s. The players are certainly talented but the rules have changed the game. Watching an old Bulls game or Celtics vs Lakers matchup is just a totally different game.

NBA isn't basketball anymore. It's showtime. Put these excuses for teams up against the Sixers, Celtics, Bucks, Lakers, Bullets, Rockets, and Pistons of the 1970's and 80's, they would get destroyed

We're 4 pages deep and the white dudes that don't like the nba have yet to provide any objective analysis proving the previous 90s Era ball was better.

The league has far more access to data, efficiency, analytics, strength and conditioning, more offensive sets, better defensive rules (unless you think hand checking and illegal defense calls make any sense, then please leave the conversation), but somehow dudes from the 90s are better players and played better ball.

And the modern guys are taking nights off to rest.

Wouldn't you know it the league made a rule that would penalize the player if they did it too much.

Haven’t watched nba in years, nor do I ever intend to. But those courts are awesome.

The tournament has been a resounding success lol

By what measure? I'm genuinely curious. Social media engagements? Were ratings notably up? The only thing I heard people talk about in real life was the courts.

I watched the first Bulls tournament game, and then they didn't play another for 2 weeks, and then they didn't play another for a week after that. Yet they played a bunch of "regular" games in between, so I kind of lost interest.

Good. I like the tournament idea, I just wish they'd consolidate the schedule more. But if the NBA can sustain or build interest in the tournament year over year without it, more power to them.

I found myself attracted to the NBA when the Lakers/Celtics rivalry was going on. Now…I may catch a game during round three of the playoffs.

The NBA is all about individualism. You hear about 20-25 players across the league. As another poster mentioned, it all a big soap opera and load management. I never cared about LeBron and his superteams. To me, the athletes demand going where they can win instead of staying at a place and win there. It’s all about egos.
