Ole Miss v Bama 1969. A historic game. It was the second nationally televised prime time college football game. Archie Manning passed for 436 yards and two touchdowns and ran for 104 yards and three touchdowns. Becoming the first college player to throw for over 300 yards and run for over a hundred yards in a single game.
It wasn't enough as Scott Hunter for Bama threw for over 300 yards and led the Tide to a late 4th quarter touchdown to win 33-32.
ETA: My dad(RIP)always said it was the best game he ever watched.

Floria vs Florida St. 1996 felt like an enormous game.
I watched it with my dad on a black and white tv with bunny ears in a shack we were using as a deer camp.

Bin Laden really screwed the Gators that year. The game was moved back to after the F$U game. Scumbag Nole Darnell Dockett twisted Earnest Graham’s leg and caused him to miss the Vol game. UF loses by 2 without one of their best players.

I don’t remember the whole game but the kick six game had a bad arse ending.
The ending was the cherry on top, but if you took that away it was still an incredible game. It had everything.
I think it's the best game I've ever seen in terms of entertainment value.

You could really just name the entire 2007 season.
From App St/ Michigan to Pitt/ WVU it was probably the single greatest season the sport ever had.
Arkansas alone played in like 4 games decided by one score.

I hate the answer… but it’s ‘69 Texas-Arkansas
Was called the national championship. Nixon was there. Arkansas up 14-0 in the 4th in Fayetteville before a miracle comeback for Texas to win 15-14.
Broyles died with never having watched the game film.
Part of the Natural State died that day.
