He was overrated. If you ever really listened to him, he was a poor imitation of Chris Berman, not that Berman was clever since he jumped the shark around 1995.
Listening to Wingo meant you heard lots of yelling, bad puns, and you got a sense that he thought he was funnier and more clever than he really was. I don’t see his departure as a huge loss.

I have no real reason for clicking on this thread- I cant even think of what Trey Wingo looks like much less anything else about him but I had to laugh at this.
Me. I quit mine in June in the middle of the pandemic. Possibly retarded but loving every minute of it so far. I will eventually have to get one but sometimes you just gotta get out or I did anyway. Like I said, still tbd on if retarded or not.
