If Lavar Ball paid for a kid to move and they later went to UCLA, do they penalize the kid because Lavar had two sons play at UCLA

Comparing the father of a kid who played at UCLA to the actual coach is absurd.

Every time Memphis has a good team, you can rest assured that cheating is involved.

And since NCAA has no desire to after the cheating with the blue bloods, this is an easy hit for them.

A smart coach probably still sits him until this is resolved so it doesn't hurt the rest of the team, but Penny will play him cause he don't give a frick.

How does Shelby County have any jurisdiction over what the NCAA does?

This is what Zeek kept doing IIRC. Eventually gave up, but with Memphis I’m sure they know it’s make or break anyway so might as well let it ride.

I don't give a shite of he moved the entire fab 5 he recruited, if he has the bills and the players wish to attend the socialist NCAA can eat a bag.

Fairness and all. Meanwhile Kansas is still kicking along with their ding dong of a coach Self.

Memphis was going to add to a great season and fun entertainment. Wiseman is a phenom from what I have seen and now we don't get to watch

Memphis fans who took all those season tickets should be outraged it came down NOW. Freak the NCAA.

Yeah Saban moved Tua and his family to Alabama, before he was even committed there, to play on his 7 on 7 team.

frick the NCAA.

And those of you who are shitting on Penny for thumbing his nose at the Calipari’s and K’s of the world are excusing the issue as a whole.

If those guys get away with it, then so should Memphis. UNC could leave a paper trail and the NCAA wouldn’t care. I’m on board with Memphis if the other programs get to be dirty too, just because their coaches have been doing this longer. What a cop out answer...

Unless he cut this kid major checks or handed the family rolls of cash, then I don’t care. If he ‘bought’ Wiseman, then I hope Memphis gets penalized. Otherwise, it’s just another day in the life of the NCAA being a garbage organization.
