I vaguely remember Dorsett in the '77 Sugar Bowl but I was pretty young, that's likely my first.

Good question. I don't know about TV, but in-person it would probably be Bo Jackson at the '86 Cotton Bowl.

Seeing them in college? I remember watching Marcus Allen since my uncle always talked about him. But too young to remember him in college.

As a kid living in Chicago I ate at a restaurant and I think it had the first Heisman trophy on display. Berwanger? I was young and really didn’t know what it represented. I also attended the college all star game at Soldiers Field where the college all stars played the Super Bowl champs. Probably saw a Heisman winner but couldn’t tell you who it was.
