A little off topic but these are the Heisman winners that I saw play live in college

Burrow @ LSU
Kyler @ OU
JFF @ JerryWorld vs Pig
Tebow @ LSU
Leinart @ Arkansas
White @ Sugar Bowl
Ricky @ Cotton Bowl
Salaam @ MU
Brown vs SMU at ND
Bo Liberty Bowl vs AR (year before won Heisman)
Simms vs Texas and vs Arkansas in Orange Bowl
Campbell vs Pig

Saw Dorsett play as a Cowboy but never live.

Kind of remember George Rogers because he went to the Saints. I vividly remember Marcus Allen and Herschel Walker.

My first vivid memory of actually watching a Heisman winner was Herschel.

The first vivid memory I have of a Heisman winner continuously sticking it up my team's (LSU) arse was Wuerffel.

I am not forgetting Bo won a Heisman...but back then LSU and Auburn didn't play each other for some reason.

I remember that in 80 there was a show on WTBS every Saturday and they showed highlights of games. It was a studio show with a audience. That was how I first heard of Herschel then saw him on tv vs Florida in the Lindsey run game.

I want to say the first live game on ABC for 81 Clemson UGA and Hershel had a broken thumb that night.

I probably am misremembering that last part though.

Jason White 2003. LSU kicking OU's arse in the Natty began my love affair with college football.

On TV was Matt Leinart, first in person was Tebow. Have also seen Ingram, Newton, Henry, Manziel, Burrow, and Smith in person. Very fortunate to say I've seen a lot of top tier talent in recent years.

Doug Flutie, mid 80s, I couldn't tell you how many times they showed the Hail Flutie in that Miami game.
