It's rather hilarious that the Browns using a logo they've had since 1946 has generated so much media coverage and discussion. Even the RedZone host wouldn't shut up about it.

If the Saints painted Sir Saint on the field, I guess all these supposed football fans would have their minds blown by that too.

I mean, their logo is literally just their helmet, which doesn’t have a logo. You might think it’s weird that their helmet doesn’t have a logo, but the whole helmet actually IS the logo. Which one came first? We do not know.

They are the real life equivalent of the fantasy team that never sets a team picture, with a name that’s just “Team (owners last name)”

About GDmn time they made it official...

The brownie elf has been popular with the fans since the franchise came back.

He was the mascot when the Browns were kicking butt. Back in Paul Brown days.

Those teams are what made Cleveland BrownsTown. The city has never forgotten those days.

Was he the only owner that named a pro team after himself? That is so boss that I'm surprised no other owner I can think of ever did that too.

Robert Johnson allegedly named the Charlotte Bobcats after himself when the NBA awarded his ownership group an expansion franchise after the original Hornets left for New Orleans.

I don't know if that was ever officially confirmed by him, but they obviously became the Hornets again after he sold to MJ.
