why do they feel so entitled?
If i was the state system I would call them and tell them to quit bitching. If they can claim "elite" status, Louisiana Tech and Louisiana-Monroe should start calling themselves University of Louisiana just to :mindblown: everyone

You, the person telling other people to eat a dick, are the one who sounds mad. The fact of the matter is that there are a shitload of universities in this state. What gives ULLLLLLLLL the right to be THE University of the entire state? I'll answer that for you. Nothing gives them that right. It's something that the school itself dreamt up. It's not factual, nor should it be accepted as fact.

The easy fix here is move the school to Scott. Change the name to Louisiana-Scott University. Then they can be called LSU also.

Its not that I dont understand it, its the fact that I dont give a frick. That and the fact that outside of Lafayette it seems to be a pretty futile attempt.
ETA: And changing from Waltons to WalMart isnt the same as changing from ULL to UL.
