I don’t understand this thread.
1st of all the chiefs and bills aren’t gonna lose Sunday. So none of this really matters. But the Bengals have proven that
They can go on the road and win against top notch competition….

I think the real issue here and why people are upset is that the league did not go with the standing rule of winning percentage being the deciding factor and arbitrarily go to a coin flip.
I understand and agree there are much bigger things in life than sports, and DH’s health should be the primary focus, and agree with not continuing the game etc.
But as an outsider looking in with no dog in the race I too would question the coin flip decision if I was Zac Taylor. Home field advantage is a real thing and advantage in my mind.

Whatever the NFL’s rule is for a handling a game being cancelled should be applied here.

They had rules in the book to cover this scenario. But for some reason they decided to change those rules in a three day period. So you have teams that could benefit from the rule change allowed to vote in their own self interests.

It is mind boggling unfair and it just goes to show which owners have pull with the NFL head office and which ones do not. Mike Brown is obviously one of the owners who does not.

I’m not a big Bengals fan but I’ll definitely be rooting against the Bills from here on out. Hopefully they are quick out of the playoffs. I hate it when the NFL shows favoritism towards a team due to some special interest case and public opinion.
