I'm not sure this is all warranted.
The Braves already beat the Dodgers this season in a series. They have an upcoming rematch and I'll bet that the Braves beat them again. Or if not, then in the playoffs.

They’re so deep that even injuries and guys busting massively on huge contracts doesn’t derail them.
If the Tigers had offered Skubal a huge contract and he busted they’re cooked for 7 years.
His arm could fall off tomorrow and they’d still have a top rotation and could afford to sign someone else next year to replace him.

Dodgers are +140 to win the World Series, which is absurd for a MLB team at this point in season, but still implies that they do not in fact win the WS around 60% of time.

As a long time Dodgers fan, even I am tired of what baseball has become. For me, the allure of baseball is the 162 game journey. But with the Dodgers, the way they operate paying whatever it takes to get the best players, it’s basically killed my attention or interest in baseball till the playoffs start.
Hopefully there is a long long lockout. It’s never been more boring. If I know my team will 100% make the playoffs, and the success or failure of the season will come down to 1 month, why even follow till then? What’s the point of watching sports if there’s no obstacle to overcome? The Dodgers are closest baseball equivalent to the 1992 NBA dream. I find it boring

Off the top of my head guys that stayed with them or went elsewhere since the organization started behaving like this
Will smith has been great. I’m not sure where he was on the mlb as a whole list
Verdugo was largely a bust
Lux sucked
May has barely pitched
Buehler panned out for a few seasons and then got hurt and sucked
Yordan doesn’t really count
Not saying other organizations aren’t overall similar
But they don’t seem to have a track record astoundingly different as well.
In addition like I said one of the main pieces is a 28 year old coming off Tommy John and still ranked across the board top 100.
No other organization gets that type of benefit of the doubt/juiced prospect rankings. It’s not like he’s a Cuban defector or anything. He’s American.

That’s true. They haven’t resigned him yet. Plenty of teams could have offered more for him.
