Ready for the strike. Already stopped watching on TV cause games are rarely on unless you are one of four teams. There is no balance in this sport. They need a long strike to bring these players and owners back down to reality.

The Swinging Dick Dodgers do it again!

I was hoping he did not go to Dodgers. Definitely the most boring, predictable outcome. But don’t really get all the outrage, every team had the opportunity to offer a better trade package, but apparently did not.
The Dodgers are by far the mostly likely team to win the WS, but I’d still take the field versus them.

Now we wait for the $500m contract thats deferred to 2045. Enjoy the next two months of baseball because it may be the last we see for a very long time.

Good
I hope it dies.
Letting the Deferments ruin a once great sport is on the owners and Manfred.
They could have prevented this nonsense but a couple owners got skittish.
Now we will hopefully lose an entire season of baseball. If not more.

Most people don’t want to admit it, but the Dodgers are an incredibly run organization. The fact that they have the resources they do on top of that, does make it feel unfair.

Dodgers able to sell their farm system because they don’t need a farm system. They’ll just buy everyone else’s best players to replenish their roster.
Tampa or Milwaukee need their farm systems and couldn’t make this deal.

Retards will see this and still say baseball shouldn’t have a cap.

As someone that doesn’t follow the MLB ….
Can someone explain why this trade is bad for MLB in regards to a potential lockout? I get they’re stacking their roster.

They could have made this equivalent deal, but the Dodgers would have just increased the offer to make sure they got him. And they know they'll resign him, so it's all worth it. I am pissed the Brewers and/or Rays didn't make the Dodgers pay a steeper price though.

Just furthers the insanity of differences in payroll.
Maybe part of the deal can also be they actually suspend players for life for gambling again rather than lay the blame on the interpreter.

This is false based on other reports. The Brewers package was objectively better.
Skubal chose the Dodgers. He’s the LeBron of MLB is what they’re saying on Twitter
