You’re off base on this one, by a mile.
So you are saying America does have a good grasp on mental health and people respect it? Really?

Because I honestly don’t think I have seen a single person who knows anything about mental health or has gone through it share your opinion

I guess we can assume based on these comments that Skip Bayless is currently dealing with depression and knows what it does to a person

There is nothing wrong about what Prescott said. But if you can’t even workout(show up to work) you don’t get sympathy from a work/competitive standpoint.

As far as I can tell he didn’t miss practice I riot to his brother’s death. So he didn’t miss work, just expressed that he didn’t have the desire to do it. What’s your point?

You can't say that with a straight face if you have any sense of decency and don't lack simple human compassion. You just can't.

Seems like he was making the point depression is real, but it can’t be used as a crutch if you are in a postition of leadership
Well, this is real life and not Madden, so...

Those spots you either deal with it, or find something else and get your personal life straight
Or don't, and you're still a solid QB who will make a shite ton of money. The horror!!!

But I get it, it’s 2020, let’s kill him
He deserves everything coming his way.

You're acting like his brother didn't commit suicide here, and he needs to just man up and deal with that or we'll crush him. That's just absurd.

He simply said, as it relates to the game of football, the other teams don’t stop if you can’t workout. The other teams don’t care if you aren’t mentally all there

Except that's not at all what he said.

Had he "simply" said only that, this wouldn't be an issue.

But he said he has no sympathy for Dak, which makes him a legit POS human being.

Yeh you don’t know who the frick you are talking to about this
There's only 3 logical options here.

1. You've neve experienced someone close to you going through legit depression.

2. You learned nothing from someone close to you going through legit depression.

3. You're just a huge arse hole with zero compassion.

Reading through your posts, I fail to see how anyone can logically come to any other conclusion for defending a dude saying he has no compassion for a dude stating he battled depression after his brother committed suicide.

And it will still 100% be seen as weakness in a football locker room

There are some shitheads everywhere but most people don’t think less of someone going through a close family loss.

But depression after your brother kills himself is not exactly a weakness as much as normal human reactions

Seeing that and thinking “that’s weak for an NFL QB” is not a normal human reaction

It's not that big of a deal

Certainly not on the level of defending the dude who has no sympathy for the athlete going public with his depression battle after his brother committed suicide.

Funny you talk about caring for mental health and yet you post this to someone on a message board you know nothing about and have no clue the road he has traveled with mental health

It’s an awful disease. And it shows no mercy to the one going through it or there family. And the truth is, this country doesn’t give a flying frick about mental health. Suck it up buttercup and take this pill is about what you get. So I find it hilarious all you heroes on this board just know how accepting everyone is in “the real world” about how mental health is accepted

Truth is, people and society as a whole don’t give one flying duck and there isn’t a shred of sympathy as it relates to the outside world and Bayless nailed that spot on, and it’s refreshing to see someone in the media admit that instead of blowing smoke up Everyone’s arse like yourself telling us how Dak will be respected more for opening up, because the honest truth is he won’t
