Suicide is the number 2 cause of death from 15 to 30 years old.

I do not think any of us are insulated from these acts either directly or indirectly.

Sadly, suicide is often the first sign of clinical mental illness.

I had a close relative who tried suicide. Luckily, lived through it.
Got hospitalized and diagnosed with depression. He’s on medicines and counseling.
Making good progress in life.

It hurt when it happened, but looking backwards I have been to 3 funerals that were suicides.

One was a doctor. Two were teenagers. No way to predict who will try suicide, but if someone states “I want to kill myself” please get them the help they need.
