Best thing for lebron hoops legacy woulda been to take those two pups and lead them to a title. Bc he won’t win one in LA he kinda Punted on his hoops legacy in lue of his business interest/Hollywood career.

The NBA misinformation is hilarious. Just a few days ago there was a report about how Kawhi wanted to play with Lebron on the Lakers. Now it’s exact opposite. Don’t know which is true but this stuff is baffling.

Sixes have deep Spurs connections, but with much younger guy at the helm.. Kawhi would probably feel comfortable there in tbe system.

Clippers have the logo who I still believe is going to pull off some kind of deal here soon. If he lured Leonard, he could tell him he's going to build around him with the next Steph and Clay.

Leonard is LeBron's True krytonite and both men know it. No way he teams up with him... Never thought it sounded reasonable anyway.

Amazing though, Boston seems like a place Kawhi could both thrive and feel comfortable with the coach. That team was built through trades and drafting too, and doesn't have the "team up" mentality.

I read this, and it tells me Kawhi is beyond desperate to GTFO of San Antonio. He had originally put it out there that he would only re-sign with the Lakers. He was trying to force a trade there, and he wanted to discourage other teams from trading for him by saying he won't re-sign there.

Now, it seems as if LA is willing to be patient and simply sign him as a FA instead of trading for him. This has likely made their offers to San Antonio terrible, and a deal is nowhere near getting done. Now Kawhi is saying he'll sign anywhere so that he can just GTFO of San Antonio.

First, it's not a good sign for the accuracy of your reporting when you use potentially to qualify potential.
It’s really terrible reporting all around. Just a bunch of hot takes based on hearsay. It really shows that Shams, Woj, are great at one thing: scooping and reporting facts that are about to be released. They're pretty terrible journalists though when the required to piece something together.

He's top 2 all time to majority of people.

At this point, nothing he does will ever unseat Jordan to people and even former players.

If he wants to focus on life after, I think it's a smart decision.

He knows that. He realize that. He can’t jump Jordan no matter what. He is that elite echelon though all time. Might as well focus his efforts somewheres else.he would rather pass Jordan in net worth than anything.

only kids will believe this nonsense. This is all posturing. Kawhi is just making it more difficult for the Spurs. Kawhi has all the leverage. Pop is stubborn, but he's also screwed.

Lol, no they won't. And they shouldn't be. Good teams are good, that's what matters.

Foh

Getting Cleveland a title and his play this season have MULTIPLE media members and former player throwing their hands up and saying, "frick, MJ legitimately isn't capable of doing what Lebron is doing."

I really hope he effectively takes this next season off. But if nobody signs with the Lakers and it's just him and this roster now...he'll show the world why he's the GOAT again.

And people are clearly seeing and responding to what he's been doing on the court.

Kahwi to Philly would be awesome and the best move IMO. Philly also has what will be Sacramento's lottery pick, how high it probably will be in the 6-10 range and they have like 3 second round picks that will all be high which will easily get them another late first.

Kawhi and Brown were together in SA, and Brwon as director of player development had a role in Leonard's advances.

Philly will probably have to let two or 4 good younger players walk coming off their rookie deals this year, but even adding Kawhi with the 1 year deals of JJ, Chandler, Bayless, and expirings thats $37 million. Simmons extension is looming though.

Nope. The spirit of completion frowns heavily on that. Players are supposed to wanna beat the other best players not team up with them. This era is a fad. Not the norm going forward.

Kawhi to Philly would be awesome.

That's where Lebron should have gone.

Kick the shite out of flaky arse Kyrie and then run the East AGAIN when he flakes to NY.

Then be an older guy on a still young and SUPER talented Philly team when GS realizes nobody gives a shite about individual player legacies and they break up.

That's where Lebron's rings would have come from. Not this shite Laker team.

I think the Lakers might have messed up and punted a year of prime Bron with some of these FA signings this offseason.

What do you do for a living, just general industry even.

Morey really really fell flat this free agency . Great GM but Houston will only be a perennial 1-5 seed but never make the NBA finals, with the current cap sheet and talent. Would be great to see him blow it all up all the way down to Harden again and see what he does.
