Seems like Burrow's bench thoughts would make great memes

He plays great. Gets beat up.

Sits on the bench, watches the shite.

His lack of expression is interesting.

He did the same when they were good. Always sits on the bench with that blank expression.

Imagine not re-signing Jessie Bates, DJ Reader, or Joe Mixon. How's that running game and defense, Bengals? Ahaha

Dude is playing incredible football.

If he had half a D and an O line he’s in the MVP race:

I don’t know why anyone thinks letting Mixon go was a mistake. Chase Brown is much better.

Particular RB is much less relevant than a competent line.

Burrow is essentially having an MVP season completely masked by atrocious D. Or, let's put it this way: had he been in NE during all those big time Brady years, he would have been unstoppable.

Netflix will tell you everything in the next QB. He’s being shadowed entire season.

A great QB with a great wide receiver in a league where the money actually matters. Hopefully he survives long enough to get to a team with an owner that actually cares. Chase should get out of there on the first thing smoking that results in him getting paid.

Seems when he’s in the bench he’s always either staring off expressionless or staring an iPad. No ups and downs.

Burrow would have 7-8 rings on either the old school
Niners or Pats

He’s the best QB to ever play the game. However, he’s not as athletic as Lamar, Mahomes, or Joshy and he kind of needs to be behind that dogshit O Line, w a dogshit Coach that can’t scheme anything open, and w a dogshit Defense.

He would need to be on a more team friendly deal. I’m the biggest Burrow fan, but he’s Drew Brees 2.0. He makes too much in salary to put the right pieces around him.

Is it? We've heard this from the Swamptards about Cincy's OLine since Jeaux came into the league (usually because Jonah Williams was on the OLine). No matter how many times it's shown that it isn't true, this talking point gets repeated so often here it's become a touchstone of faith.

100% it is. Look at the PFF grades. 3 of the Bengals starting OL grade in the bottom 10% of the league. All the defensive front has to do is use a twist and someone will come free up the middle most of the time. It's been amazing to see how poor the interior of that OL is at picking up stunts.

Brees was severely underpaid for quite some time with the Saints given his production.

Seems like Burrow has had poor online ever since he got there. Even under his rookie contract.

QBs have so much to process. When I see him sitting there, I know his mind is racing.

Replaying protecting, processing what the defense is doing, how he should throw certain routes. How much time he’s getting. When to run. Which plays will work. Etc etc.
