You guys saw the ump called the pitch a strike, right?

anyone know what the rule actually is in pro ball? can the ump call the strike based on what the zone should be, or does the zone shrink with the batter?

The strike zone is based on the batter’s height when he is in a hitting position and ready to swing (i.e., not squatting down).
ETA: MLB strike zone is bottom of the kneecap to the midpoint between the batter’s shoulders and the top of his uniform pants. No idea what it is in Little League but it’s probably even more lenient.
