They’re also still gonna display soldiers in every broadcast, have obnoxious 10000 square foot American flags, and have USAA as a major corporate partner.
Stop cherry-picking your outrage. You never mentioned “Salute to Service.”

look forward to poorly written paragraphs about the NFL’s slow death from people who think things like “end racism” are controversial statements
Most of us got over racism in the 60’s. For some reason Dim’s (like you) can’t get over it even though they caused it

At what point did those actions call you a racist?

No, they don't want to end THAT kind of racism.

It's just such a dumb world
End Obesity
End Irresponsibility
End Illicit Drug Use
End Greed
End Excessive Drinking
End Texting and Driving
End Beefing over Dumb shite
All of these things are more pervasive and harm 100000x more people than racism on an annual basis and are equally trite and will accomplish equally zero

You're right it's not controversial, so why are there multi-million dollar activist groups devoted to it?

Could you even explain a reason why someone should be outraged over the NFL saluting people (of all color and creed mind you) who’ve served our country?

I get the NFL doing this last year, these issues were hot buttons across the county. Companies were being "forced" to make such statements. Today, you hear very little about this.....as in when is the last time you heard anything about BLM or antifa ( absent those idiots still in Portland ) .....so the NFL is taking it upon itself to stir the pot now. . And that is exactly what will happen, as it is here on a minor scale. "Inspire Change"? Get real. How far will that message resonate in Chicago, N.Y.,Portland, etc ? Lost me & my family last year.

Y’all might not watch it, but y’all never shut up about it either. Biggest NFL fans I know.

So Jacob Blake is still a spokesman for the NFL? Nice.

I would imagine that it’s been tough for you to wash feet without clean water in that shithole city.
FWIW I don’t have an issue with:
quote:
“end racism
This,
quote:
The league will also bring back the "Say Their Stories" initiative
however, is where criminals the likes of St. George got his wings. frick that propaganda.

Yes, American soldiers call people racist all the time, then lie about their situations that got them in trouble.
EXACT SAME THING.

This guy gets it
Instead, if someone rolls their eyes or verbalized out loud how “end racism” is dumb and a useless virtue signaling statement, they would be labeled as a racist. So there’s no way to stop it, it accomplishes nothing, but the NFL gets to pat itself on the back and pretend it did something

The words "end racism " by themselves are not controversial but falsely accusing people of racism simply because they disagree with you about something is asinine. Of course you know that, racism is simply a tool for folks like you and it's disgusting

was surprised how many guys refused to play fantasy due to this type of thing. Guys that have been in our league for 15+ years. They all said they're over the Social Justice grandstanding and refuse to watch/participate.
My main one for almost 10 years is done. My buddies dad's league shut it down after 20+ years. I know these aren't isolated events and I'd be curious what the numbers look like for 19,20 & 21
