I’m syainng we’ve been there 20 years and have had hundreds of servicemen die. They all died serving their country equally.
I think we should honor all of them.
You are completely correct
And the NFL should allow a player to put any one of those individuals on their helmet for the entire season

I look forward to poorly written paragraphs about the NFL’s slow death from people who think things like “end racism” are controversial statements
You know damn well that the issue is not with that statement in a vacuum, but continue being obtuse.

was surprised how many guys refused to play fantasy due to this type of thing. Guys that have been in our league for 15+ years. They all said they're over the Social Justice grandstanding and refuse to watch/participate.
I am one of them

Will the names of any of the 13 marines killed in Kabul be used?
These Marines were heroes and we need more like them. George Floyd was a worthless piece of shite and the world is a better place without him.
Wonder which one they'll continue to hold up as a hero?

That’s a great question! Unfortunately I know the answer, and it isn’t the right one

Eh. I don't think black lives matter is a controversial statement, but I heavily, heavily disagree with the actual organization based on their (now removed) mission statement.

Well in fairness they're advocating to stop something that isn't a significant problem, so arguably it already did

The league will also bring back the "Say Their Stories" initiative and for the first time, each team will highlight its social justice work during a regular-season home game in Weeks 17 and 18

say their stories? shouldn't it be tell their stories?
NFL thinks African Americans can't speak proper English.

The hypocrisy of the nfl is ridiculous.
Goodell turning down cowboys from wearing the deceased police officers from 2016 attack.
Unreal

The Woke Saints Talk forum will tell you any opposing point of view related to this non sense is “you being the problem.”

Yes, then I'll be watching. I can easily tune out anything I don't care about and watch football only.

99.9% of the world agrees with the statement “end racism”, which is why it’s fricking stupid. it presents a narrative that most people don’t agree with it so need to see it/be reminded and the “enlightened” NFL and its players are championing some “higher cause”
“end domestic violence” would be a better use of the space for the NFL, IMO

Will the Bears highlight the two white dudes who were beaten unconscious by a black mob when their turn is up?
Probably not.
Probably not.

They’re also still gonna display soldiers in every broadcast, have obnoxious 10000 square foot American flags, and have USAA as a major corporate partner.
Stop cherry-picking your outrage. You never mentioned “Salute to Service.”
Show me on this doll where the USA touched you.
