Remember, no matter how much you dislike it, or stop watching, they will continue to die on this sword to appease the players, and owners will use this in next CBA as part of their willingness to work with players. Owners never actually do things for the players, there is always motives down the road.
Also, until all of you stop playing fantasy football, betting on football, playing daily fantasy, and other office pools and the such that stimulate the NFL, it ain't worried.
Gambling is the #1 reason for it's popularity. It's only 1 game a week, compared to other sports where fantasy sports becomes a job, rather than fun with friends.
Think about it this way, when people tell you how popular it is: Nearly Half the teams cannot sell out their season tickets, and they only play 8 fricking home games. Not 41 or 81, 8 fricking games.
