Nothing to worry about. No need for O Line.. What are the chances QB gets beat up Again next season?

because stats don't necessarily equate to "prospect"

he's obviously a great prospect, but its recency bias to call him the best in a decade. He's got one season of production without freakish measurables.

To call him a "better" prospect than someone like Amari Cooper coming out is just false. Cooper was bigger with similar production with Blake Sims throwing him the ball

This is the laziest argument I’ve seen today.

You didn’t even contradict his position.

Going back to 2009 how many WR do you
think averages 20+ yards per catch on over 60 or more catches?

5

How many do you think average: 20+ yards per catch on 70 or more catches?

2.

How many do you think averaged 20+ yards per catch on 80+ catches?

1. Guess who that was.

One of Wyatt Davis or Teven Jenkins should be there tomorrow when they pick. If not Cosmi would be another fine option.

I mean, he literally did get called the best WR prospect since Julio Jones by the pros on tv. Not sure what’s so funny.

best receiving prospect in a decade.

I'm seeing several posts laughing at this but zero examples of better prospects.

Chase is the best WR prospect since AJ Green in 2011.

Size - strength - ball skills - speed - agility - hands. Can stop and go on a dime and high point the ball with the best of them. He is the total package.

4.38 40

23 reps on the bench
11 ft broad jump

nah, pretty average measurables for a WR

They picked up some better free agents on that line

Bengals looking pretty with some elite talent that has interior/exterior flexibility in Jenkins, Osmi, and Dickerson, with interior guys like Humphrey and Mayfield also out there

Bengals were weakest at guard,
This. They could draft Dickerson and it would cure a lot of ills up the middle.

Dickerson is interior. Cosmi is a tackle.

They are set at center so I doubt they take Humphrey.

Teven Jenkins can play right tackle or right guard. Wyatt Davis is another good option at right guard.

It actually set up nice for the Bengals.

i don't know why i listed dickerson as an option, tbh

i think Cosmi may have to move inside b/c of his arms, but he fits a zone scheme really well so his athletic traits fit their scheme the best

i think jenkins is the best and i think he slipped b/c of his concerns blocking certain speed-counter moves outside, but inside he'd lose those concerns. don't know if he fits their blocking scheme though

Brenden Jaimes is a guy who they can pick probably in the 4th to solidify another interior slot

Can we do this thread if the Bengals don't pick any OL the rest of the draft? Some of you act like it's one round.

Yes, Sewell is likely going to be a great player but it's not like they now have zero options after passing up on him.

This is the same dude who said you can find receivers like Justin Jefferson in the 4th and 5th rounds of every draft.

I'm not sure how anyone on this board takes him seriously at this point. His takes are laughable.

Maybe take that OL first and TM6 in the second round.

so they overdraft a guy like Slater to get a severely less valuable WR? that doesn't make sense

Sewell is overrated by drafniks and last night showed that. he's not this generational OT prospect like he was sold months ago (most have walked that back during the process). he has some rare athletic traits but he also has lots of holes (including some that he can't fix like his short arms). Slater was the guy that made sense for the Bengals and he slid to 12 (probably the best value pick of the first at that point)

pitts or chase were the only true value choices at 5 and there are PLENTY of interior guys (some of whom can possibly move outside eventually) in the top of the 2nd

pitts is a generational talent

chase may not be there, but he has the argument of being close (like this thread discusses, the best WR prospect since Julio/AJ)
