you guys are delusional with regard to Chase

He had one good year where he had a once in a generation college QB throwing to him on an offense with a ton of other threats.

To be fair they spent the whole 2020 draft basically asking how well did the top CB do trying to cover Chase. The guy is very good.

The reason he was the top WR in this draft is because he dominated individual matchups.

The #2 WR from that college team set the nfl rookie receiving record

So I don’t see why it’s strange to say the #1 WR from that team may be one of the best prospects in a long time

because stats don't necessarily equate to "prospect"

he's obviously a great prospect, but its recency bias to call him the best in a decade. He's got one season of production without freakish measurables.

To call him a "better" prospect than someone like Amari Cooper coming out is just false. Cooper was bigger with similar production with Blake Sims throwing him the ball

I’m really happy for Jamarr Chase and him reuniting with Burrow, but passing on the best tackle in the draft reeks

The ROY is happy because the Chargers made a pick to protect him.
Burrow will just lead the league in sacks.

Just heard a stats guy break down how the biggest value in rounds 2 and 3 are WRs and they actually have equal or better production than 1st rounders traditionally.

With the OT, you're basically putting a starter there for the next decade and protecting your franchise

this was a loaded receiver class. Bateman, Toney, E. Moore, R. Moore, Marshall, Atwell all still on the board.

Not sure why you’re getting downvoted. They have two very good young WRs and a shite O line. It absolutely should’ve been a lineman.

I think it would be smarter honestly to spend money on good experienced OL instead of drafting a rookie OL to protect your young QB. They can get a cheap elite skill position player instead of overpaying for one.

If people think Burrow is in such danger why should they chance it on a lineman instead of buying one which can be done at good value.

Agree. All my friends are in love with Bengals getting Chase. That's nice and all, but that's fricking retarded. Should have went OL. Should have picked Sewell. The Bengals are the Bengals for a reason. They'll pay the price when Burrow gets hurt. Again. They never learn.

Sewell has a 50% chance of eating himself out of the league. Jamarr’s floor is 5 pro bowl appearance. Props to the bengals. They took a guy with both a high floor and hall of fame potential.

Sounds like drafting an OL in the first isn’t a sure thing either
