Let's not forget the frickery by the refs earlier in the game that resulted in a Bears FG instead of a possible TD. That's 4 more points.

Refs were worth minimum 7 points for the Steelers tonight.

It’s tricky because he had the leg and speed for that in just about every stadium. You can see the wind actually killed the momentum and the ball just dropped (may have even gone backwards before hitting the ground)

Just saw Andy Dalton talking to Big Ben after the game. Andy D is one big arse ginger. Eye to eye with Ben. Had no idea he was that big. Just a fyi

fricked a team out of 4 points and give the other team 3.

Not even really pissed. Bears down multiple key defensive players. Fields played really well. Nagy loses. Gets us one game closer to him being fired and a higher draft pick.

Weren't winning the SB or making playoffs anyway.

Did I just witness blatent Vegas controlling a game? Is this going to be my life with sports betting in Louisiana with me wearing a tin foil hat every weekend?

They had just noted that Boswell is the only kicker in history to make 2 FGs of 50+ in that stadium in a single game. Trying a 60+ yarder is horribly inept.

That should tell you how unprepared Matt Nagy is as a head coach. Dude should be a OC for a mid tier Texas High School.

Had that last pass not been batted down at the line, the clock would have expired.

I’d be stunned if any kicker in the league made a 65 yard FG at Heinz. Nagy essentially forfeit that game going for the kick there.

Well, Nagy sucks and hopefully we're done with him on Black Monday when the firings happen, or sooner.

The ref purposefully bumped into Marsh.

By the way, to anyone saying he was pulling the flag before Marsh was heading back to his own sideline……

He wasn’t. They just showed the replay in the post game and he didn’t even reach for the flag until Marsh ran past him and the official initiated contact. That’s some major league frickery.

ETA: SVP is still questioning the call. May show it again during his wrap up. They even caught one of his producers mentioning the “hip check” just now

Yeah. I figured they would go with the Hail Mary.

Yup. Fields growth is the only thing that matters. Also Larry Borom looks like a solid rookie tackle.

There was a better chance of making that FG than converting a Hail Mary, you can't dog him for that call

Didn't they trade away their first round pick next year?

Just showed the replay of that phantom low block negating a TD. Then next play Bears get down to the 3 with a late hit on Fields, no call. That's 4 points right there.

Such BS officiating.
