Danny Goodwin. 1st overall pick in MLB draft, twice. Never caught a game at his natural position in the majors

Drew had a very underrated career. He had trouble staying healthy, but he was a much better player than people give him credit for.

And people that don't live up to the hype don't retire with close to $100 million bucks in the bank.

Totally disagree, he had a 14 year career, few all-star games, had a better career than 75% of those drafted in front of him. Yes Bonds & Will Clark were better, and Larkin is a HOF, but there were 17 other guys drafted ahead of him.

Knowing the outcome there isn't a GM in MLB who wouldn't take Pat Burrell number one.

Who was the guy from 5 or so years back who came into the league tearing shite up? His rookie card was selling for $1,000+ on eBay and people were all over his nuts making ridiculous comparisons early on. I don't follow baseball, but I haven't heard about this guy since....

Knowing the outcome, do you really believe every GM in baseball would draft Pat Burrell over CC Sabathia?
