Seriously? There isn't a small country somewhere that could use a dictator?

Tea and a small biscotti, since I have otherwise been good all day.

How is everyone?

I was relatively good, but I was the class clown in a sarcastic sort of way. IOW, nothing has changed in half a century.

I always remind myself that once upon a time, I was other people's kid.
:gmt: Good morning folks.

:gmt: Good morning, everybody. Leaving for home today after a great family visit. Yesterday we went back to the beach and walked to the lighthouse and to a restaurant half a mile beyond that. I think my ankle is officially all better. (OTOH, I will walk for food.)

Good morning from Long Island to all you early risers. It's rainy here and cool. Last night I took my sister to see Ballroom with a Twist in Westbury. Her reaction: Maks and Val are hotties. Well, duh, Sis, why do you think I bought the tickets? Also made it to the beach Thursday night (live band) and Friday (big waves), so I am happy.

Turkey wrap and iced coffee at the Cafe in the Woods at Old Westbury Gardens. I actually drove my way here in LI traffic and lived to tell the tale, but my GPS is worse at telling its left from its right than I am.

Why is nothing happening on my Twitter feed? It's either scrolling by or dead as a doornail (or as my husband would say, dead as a doorknob).

I don't like rain in my bed, myself. It means an expensive bill from the roofer is in the offing. But to each his own.

It's a little early for a glass of wine, but the rest of your advice is good.

My friend cancelled our breakfast date just because it's raining a little outside.
Actually, I'm glad because I wasn't looking forward to getting out there in my walking boot myself.

We don't seem to have a lot of early risers this morning.
