Unless he just decided he didn’t want to manage anymore it’s hard to see how or why he would stay in the organization

Agreed. I think Ross is a bad manager, but this was a sleezy move.

Unless they have plans for Ross, they kinda did him dirty like they did Renteria. At least then they had the courtesy to put out a press release saying Renteria was fired before hiring Joe Maddon.

Only thing I've heard is Yadi is taking a bench coach job and Sonny Gray is top priority for arm then Nola and the Japanese guy Matsui.
Will be interesting to see how this all plays out. Cards plan to sign 3 starters and 2 bullpen arms in one offseason.
