Elevation: 4290 feet at arena in Salt Lake City.

Gonzaga elevation: 1980 feet
McNeese State elevation: 13 feet

Elevation is known to play a critical role due to fatigue at the Delta Arena

After a practice Tuesday morning in Lake Charles, the McNeese Cowboys headed to Chennault International Airport and boarded their plane for Salt Lake City, Utah, for their first NCAA Tournament appearance since 2002. The Pokes arrived Tuesday afternoon, and spent the remainder of the day resting to get ready for what lies ahead.

McNeese is #1 in road defensive scoring efficiency on the entire season. If they had the athletes, this would be a final 4 type team.

Their offesnive efficiency is like top 30, too. They are a very very good team.

Gonzaga hasn't lost a first round game since 2008. 14 round of 64 wins in a row.

Also, Gonzaga hasn’t played Will Wade either before.

When others Zig, you gotta Zag

McNeese’s schedule was unbelievably weak. They’re not playing the University of Women’s Bible Studies…

That’s really impressive. Natchitoches, Hammond, and Thibodaux are BRUTAL trips

Don’t caveat anything, this is a Final 4 team

McNasty strategically scheduled each of these hilariously easy games to begin the year in order to mitigate the damage(s) from CWW's 10-game suspension. They also beat VCU & UAB on the road in that same (10 game) stretch.
