Matt Rhule has had it with Nebraska fans

While Rhule confirmed on Monday that he isn't leaving his post in Lincoln, he did say that kind of behavior will drive him out of the sport completely if it keeps happening. Harassing his family, he said, is where he draws the line.
"I'm not going to keep coaching if it means my kids grow up screwed up," Rhule said, via The Athletic. "You know, I'm not going to [keep] coaching and see my daughter shook."

I agree. It’s also inexcusable to be the the sole FBS team that has outgained yards against all 8 opponents and the sole FBS team that had led all 8 opponents going into the 4th quarter and be sitting at 5-3. Those are ridiculous stats that come down to head coaching and finishing games

I'm betting that none of that actually happened. It's Jim McElwain 2.0. Also, this guy has a $71M buyout. He's not retiring. His only incentive is to fail, with that type of buyout. Whoever approved a $71M buyout for him, at Nebraska, should be fired.

People on here can tell you details of recruits in the 9th grade. Also, people like Kiffin's daughter has been pretty well known for years; mainly from him being on SMedia so much. I am sure there are others
Some of that is Instagram stuff that kids of famous people get extra attention (see the KC Chiefs daughter), she wouldn't be know outside of her living zip code if it wasnt for social media and who she is related too). Not sure if Rhules daughter does that or not?
The other part is a fraction of fans are crazy and dedicate too much time on the personal side of coaches and players.

I was looking it up and it seems like all of this nonsense started in 2005 with Charlie Weis.

Kiffin's kid has been in the spotlight since he went to Miss. Knuckle draggers have been talking about her for years. Way before she was 18.

I don’t know, but even if she is, only a real goon would follow a social media account of a 13 yr old.
I think Rhule is a good coach and will do well at Nebraska assuming they can afford good players. All these close losses are kind of freakish.

His daughters are 13 and 10. How would a grown man be able to pick her out in a crowd. This is fake as frick.
