John Elway had three such games. Don’t believe it broke him.

The Bucs had a good gameplan on defense and the Chiefs having their offensive line all out of whack due to injury hurt them, a lot. Bad night, but they’ll bounce back.

I wouldn't say that at all. Tampa just did a really good job on defense, they took away the big play for the most part and controlled the line of scrimmage. Sometimes you just get beat

This. Mahomes didn't play his best, dealt with the bad toe, and TB had an incredibly great plan and game on D. It happens.

It wouldn't surprise me at all for a rematch next year.

IDK about “done” but way too many people were ready to crown him as the best ever after he won a Super Bowl

Where he got a ton of help from the opposing coach basically stroking out in the second half.

Mahomes played as well as he could. Period. He wasn't the problem. He never quit. They got beat pretty good in the first game too. Sometimes a team is simply better than the other.

The Peyton fanboys have used the “he never had a good defense” excuse for years. Sounds like the Mahomies will be saying the same.

Yeah, just overwhelm his offensive line with a relentless pass rush. What a great strategy that has worked against every quarterback in the history of football!

Nah.

They just need to go beef up their OL. Having two out killed him. He’ll also get his foot fixed in the off season.

A handful of times the guy ran circles around the field then through absolute darts in midair sideways with 2 defenders on him just to give guys chances at jump balls.

Anyone else doesn't make it to the end of that game against Tampa

I will say this about Mahomes...there's an injury issue that is starting to creep into his career. Is he becoming injury prone? Last year with the knee, now he is having surgery on his Turf Toe, which is known to linger and in some cases ruin careers. Will Mahomes body last for the long haul? That is something worth watching over the next few seasons.

Yeah, all you gotta do is make sure the Oline anchor gets a major injury, give Mahomes a toe injury that requires surgery, and the create relentless pressure all game. Teams are gonna work that strategy all season!

Did you watch the whole game? The game was rigged big time! I turned it off when I saw it and knew more bad calls and players were giving the game away! I guess you don't believe that ever happened in other games and other sports?

Weren't both his picks tipped balls? And he had 2 TDs hit his receivers in the heads. He had to run around every single play because Barret and JPP were in the backfield as soon as the ball was snapped. It was like when Lamar was playing LSU in the bowl game

This right here. Mahomes was basically the only bright spot for the chiefs last night.
